RETURN TO THE MOODY COW

Saturday 22nd March saw our third visit to the Moody Cow, that most unusual of venues.
 
We received our usual warm welcome from staff and from the large enthusiastic audience.
 
The concert was shared with the excellent ‘Bois a Gilfach’, under their MD Heledd. Their close harmony Welsh programme was, as ever, a joy to hear and in particular their sensitive rendering of ‘Y Darlun’.
 
CMDC presented an excellent and varied programme from its wide repertoire under the direction of Elaine and with the impeccable accompaniment of Sian. Of particular note was the choir’s first public performance of the inspiring ‘Hafan Gobaith’.
 
Altogether a very satisfactory first concert of the year.
