REMARKABLE DEDICATION, REMARKABLE ACHIEVEMENTS

After an incredible 25 years at the helm of Côr Meibion De Cymru, we are announcing the retirement of our esteemed Musical Director, Elaine Robins, from the end of June 2026.
 
Elaine’s dedication, and unwavering commitment have shaped and developed the Choir over this considerable time span. Her leadership has guided us through countless rehearsals, unforgettable concerts, and magical moments of music‑making that will stay with us forever.
 
As we begin to celebrate her remarkable legacy, we extend our deepest gratitude for the years she has devoted to us. We hope and trust that although she is stepping down, she will not be stepping away from us.
 
In the meantime, there remains at least one more remarkable achievement to celebrate with Elaine. This coming weekend, on our mini UK tour to Southampton, with St David’s Day concerts in Brockenhurst and Thornden Hall, Eastleigh, Elaine will conduct her 200th Côr Meibion De Cymru concert. It promises to be a very special occasion.
