CÔR MEIBION DE CYMRU AT HENSOL CASTLE WEDDING

‘Get me to the church on time’ (in this, castle) became an apt refrain for Côr Meibion De Cymru’s wedding performance at Hensol Castle on Sunday 7th December. Choristers battled through, or around, flooded roads, M4 delays and diversions, high winds and rain to bring a seasonal sense of good cheer and matrimonial celebration to an otherwise blustery and damp afternoon.

A special thank you to choristers from the West for braving the elements and making it through to deliver in Hensol Castle.
And thanks too to our unflappable and professional music team – Elaine, Huw and Jean – for their composure in dealing with last minute instructions from the registrar forbidding religious songs ahead of the wedding ceremony, resulting in a sudden re-jigging of the song order! No storms, traffic delays, babies crying, registrar edicts nor guests processing through could disrupt the wonderful choral dynamics they delivered to provide the couple’s wedding day with a lasting musical memory.
