A TRIO OF REUNIONS

Our concert at the beautiful St Teilo’s Church in Llandeilo on 5th October, was the setting for three reunions. Dr Haydn James, our M.D. in the early 90’s and now our President, joined us to conduct two of the items from the programme. Our superb violin soloist Davinder Singh was, at the age of seven, the winner of the Texaco Young Welsh Musician Competition organised by the choir. Our accompanist for the evening was the very talented former M.D. of the choir Rhiannon Wllliams.
 
C.M.D.C.’s normal high standard, under the baton of our inspirational M.D. Elaine Robins, was delivered to a warm and appreciative capacity audience. The event was further enhanced by the fabulous voice of Owain Rowlands (Baritone), a young local man who must surely have a bright future on the international stage. Compere duties were provided by David Williams and Phil Howells sharing a wealth of information.
 
We are extremely grateful for the generous support provided by a wide range of local businesses.
Dare we hope that some of the gentlemen from the audience might be tempted to join us at the Tabernacle Vestry, Ffairfach on Friday evenings at 7:30pm. You can be sure of a very warm welcome.
