The choir’s latest visit to Llanboidy on 14th Oct proved to be a great success. The concert, organised by Gwynlais Phillips in aid of Prostate Cymru, was presented to a full house in the Market Hall. The choir offered a wide and varied programme including items with each of the soloists; Catrin Aur (Soprano), Aled Wyn Davies (Tenor) and Iwan Wyn Parry (Baritone) each of whom gave powerful solo, duet and trio performances. The programme also included a piano duet by Elaine Robins, the choir’s superb conductor and the peerless Sian Davies (Accompanist).
The finale ‘Morte Christe’ featuring the choir and the 3 soloists prompted a standing ovation.
The evening compered by Emyr Jones (C.M.D.C) was presided over by Mr. Ian Gravell.
